resolves the problems with the leaking of concrete constructions, roofs, terraces and balconies. It has strong reflexive properties and a self-cleaning surface. It was especially developed for the purpose of protection against rain and snow. It is a flexible, jointless, non-penetrating membrane which contains a neutral pigment. It will not break in the case of frost, has self-cleaning abilities and can be used on any base of the roof (metal sheet, asphalt board, concrete, etc.). If reflects ultra violet beams resulting in a decrease of temperature in rooms in the summer.
Cracks in the concrete and various surfaces enable easy penetration of water, corrosive acids and gasses up to the armouring construction. For this reason it is necessary to seal cracks and gaps to be able to perform the respective correction. The system used by the company CORRO also includes DECADEX AC. CORRO applies DECADEX AC with the aim of preventing, among other influences, carbonization. An example clearly proving the waterproof properties of DECADEX AC towards the penetration of carbon dioxide and the destruction of concrete is in Holland. DECADEX AC was applied on the EDITH STEIN HOUSE concrete construction in Amsterdam in 1969. The building is located in the intensive industrial area with a high content of dirt and acids in the air. Regular inspections of the status and properties of DECADEX AC confirm its properties. After 21 years it was stated that the depth of carbonization of the concrete which was treated by the mentioned materials represented 1 mm which could happen before the treatment of the construction with this coating, i.e. during 2 years. The depth of the carbonization in places where the concrete was not treated was 17 mm.
Throughout the world there are roofs which have a waterproof layer made of asphalt board. This cardboard was used for several years because in the past there was no other choice. However, the service-life of such a roof is not long and after a short time it requires repairs, in particular due to two main reasons. These are joints and so-called bobbles created by water which has penetrated through the cardboard. DECADEX AC is recommended for the repair of these roofs and is used in many countries with great success. It creates a non-penetrating elastic membrane without joints which reflects ultra-violet beams resulting in the decrease of temperature in rooms in the summer. It is also highly recommended in extreme conditions because by its elasticity it is able to adapt to changes in temperature and does not break. For working with this materials we provide a 5-year guarantee, however the service life is much longer.
DECADEX AC exists in 6 colour shades. For strongly dilated roofs or existing covers with a high ratio of damage, it is possible to use the system of materials DECADEX AC, reinforced with a special technical fibre of Swedish production.
DECADEX AC fulfils the highest demands for waterproof insulation of flat and sloped roofs. DECADEX AC was verified for the stated suitability by the State Testing Laboratory for Materials in Nordhein - Westfalen in Dortmund; in addition, by the Institute of Materials in Delft, Institutem CORI in Limelettu, Institute OREX / Laboratory for Control and Experimental Research of Architecture in Brussels and in the laboratory of the company VERITAS in Paris. The materials are also certified in the Czech Republic.

DECADEX AC is suitable waterproof material for flat roofs on which there is rain water for a long time. The suitability is proven by tests during which the sealed area was under water for a period of more than one year. After this test on the insulation multilayer, no change was found.

After all atmospheric influences, such as: ultraviolet radiation, rain, frost and pollution of air, the original properties are kept for a minimum period of 20 years, however provided that DECADEX AC was applied in the correct manner.

According to the attestation of the testing laboratories, the penetration of water steam is approximately 20 x higher than for comparable asphalt sealing.

The material was tested for dilatability by means of "Xenotestu" 150 according to the regulations of ISO 4892 during a period of 2,000 hours. After testing, samples with a layer thickness of 1.2 mm reported prolongation for more than 350 %.

In laboratory simulated extreme atmospheric conditions, the material was cyclically and alternatively loaded at the temperature + 120° to - 30°C. No visible defects were ascertained in U DECADEX AC.

DECADEX AC fulfils the requirements of the DIN 4102 standard. The membrane is also stable at high temperatures.

DECADEX AC is resistant to the pollution of air, acid rain and ultraviolet radiation.
Using DECADEX AC in the case of average consumption of 2.5 kg/m2 it is possible to achieve price acceptable insulation. Of course, the consumption depends on the type of base. DECADEX AC enables to create permanent insulation for all types of roofs.
